5 sessions to attend at the Gartner IAM Summit 2026 in London

Our team is heading to London for the Gartner Identity and Access Management (IAM) Summit being held on March 9 and 10, 2026.

Our team is heading to London for the Gartner Identity and Access Management (IAM) Summit being held on March 9 and 10, 2026. This year’s theme is “identity at the core” which goes hand-in-hand with policy-driven authorization. Securing your sensitive data through authorization can’t exist without identity. If you don’t know what you’re dealing with — a human user, non-human identity (NHI), agentic AI, tokens, etc — access control cannot occur.

As March approaches, we wanted to take a moment to highlight five sessions that should be added to your agenda to get into the conference spirit.

Sessions to attend

Zero Trust for AI: Many Facets of Access Control for MCP, Agents and more

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 / 10:00 AM – 10:20 AM GMT
Speaker: Mark Berg

Add Session to Agenda

AI is revolutionizing work, creating opportunities, and boosting customer experiences. With great power comes an even greater need to secure access to the data & services we’re now running with the help of AI. How do you make sure your team gets the right insights without peeking into data they’re not entitled to? We will show how runtime authorization can help and provide attendees with a roadmap to secure the use of AI within the enterprise.

Externalize authorization, secure your AI processes, and achieve runtime authorization with OpenID AuthZEN

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 / 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM GMT
Speaker: David Brossard, Homan Faramand, Alex Olivier

Add Session to Agenda

A year ago, we introduced OpenID AuthZEN, setting a new standard for fine-grained authorization. Today, AuthZEN is officially ratified. We have completed three interoperability tests focused on APIs, the AuthZEN Search API and IdP integrations. Now, we are applying AuthZEN to AI and MCP.

With AuthZEN, IAM teams can standardize authorization across applications without relying on proprietary APIs — eliminating gaps in access control and moving closer to Zero Trust.

This session will:

  • Review key achievements from the past year
  • Highlight major milestones
  • Demo new integrations
  • Share a practical action plan for getting started

SSH: A New Era of Modern PAM in a Dynamic World – Ephemeral Zero Standing Access

Monday, March 9, 2026 / 1:45 PM – 2:15 PM GMT
Speaker: Rami Raulas

Add Session to Agenda

As organizations struggle to secure privileged access management (PAM) in dynamic, zero-trust environments, traditional PAM falls short. This session explores how ephemeral identity, execution, and connectivity enable real-time, policy-driven access. Hear how leading organizations eliminated standing privileges, reduced operational complexity, and achieved measurable improvements in security and compliance.

Amplify Your Security With Authorization Management Platforms

Monday, March 9, 2026 / 11:45 AM – 12:15 PM GMT
Speaker: Paul Mezzera

Add Session to Agenda

Organizations face fragmented authorization policy management, creating silos and raising unauthorized access risks, further intensified by Agentic AI. This session explores how you can leverage authorization management platforms (AMPs) to unify and orchestrate authorization policy management across a larger and more diverse set of applications and systems.

Technical Insights: Address IAM Debt to Make Your IAM Effective

Monday, March 9, 2026 / 02:30 PM – 03:00 PM GMT
Speaker: Nat Krishnan

Add Session to Agenda

Technical debt weakens the agility of an IAM team and the effectiveness of organizational security controls. In this session, we will discuss how to tackle siloed IAM tools, legacy integrations with applications and services, and poor IAM hygiene.

Bonus: High-Value AI Use Cases for IAM

Monday, March 9, 2026 / 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM GMT
Speaker: Nathan Harris

Add Session to Agenda

While AI holds the promise for automation and efficiency, not all IAM use cases are equally suited for AI enablement. This session will walk through Gartner research related to AI for IAM use cases, including agentic AI, and help IAM leaders focus AI adoption plans on the most beneficial use cases.
