Axiomatics Bolsters Leadership Team with Standards-based Authorization

CHICAGO, IL – Axiomatics, the leader in delivering next-generation authorization, today announced the expansion of its executive team through the appointment of David Brossard as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Mr. Brossard will drive the technology vision and strategy for Axiomatics based on both identity and access management (IAM) market trends as well as customer feedback. He will also lead the company’s strategy for standards and technology integrations in both the IAM and broader cybersecurity industries.

Drawing on his experience leading the design and development of Salesforce’s identity offering including customer identity and access management (CIAM), Mr. Brossard will also play a critical role in working closely with the developer community to ensure their perspective is addressed around topics including policy-as-code.
With the addition of Mr. Brossard, Pablo Giambiagi will lead the company’s innovation research and move to the role of Chief Scientist. With a passion for leading technology breakthroughs, Mr. Giambiagi will focus on delivering a product architecture that meets authorization and access control requirements organizations face both today and in the future.

As a founding member of IDPro and a co-author of the OASIS XACML standard, Mr. Brossard is an expert on standards-based authorization as part of an overall IAM implementation. He has published several papers and contributed to several books on API security, identity, and attribute-based access control (ABAC). Mr. Brossard is also a contributor to several identity standards including OAuth and XACML where he drove standardization efforts for developers on ABAC. David holds two certificates from the Berkeley Haas School of Business in Product Management and Digital Transformation, as well as an M.Eng from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon. He is a Sun Certified Enterprise Architect and a Certified Security Testing Professional.
